It's A Vibe: Cute Places to Stay in Cool Towns

We have a motto on every Back of the Pack retreat and it’s: make it a whole vibe. We book the coolest Airbnbs we can find, pick restaurants that have good food AND good atmosphere, and aim to have the most fun in the coolest towns. We’re all about adventuring, but we’re also all about kicking back and relaxing with a cocktail (or mocktail!) post-adventure. Those things just taste better after a day in the mountains with your friends, ya know?

If you’re planning your own adventure getaway, check out these hotels and motels. They combine all the vibes of a boujee and relaxing stay with all the amenities you need to power your adventure.

A double room at LOGE Camps in Westport, Washington. Note the Yeti cooler and Rumpl blanket – which were free for us to use during our stay!

One of the “dry cabins” at Teton Valley Resort. There’s no plumbing inside, but really nice private bathrooms were just a few steps away. We saved money with this option, cooking our dinner on a two-burner stove and washing our dishes in the bathroom. The property was well-lit at night for middle-of-the-night bathroom breaks!

Teton Valley Resort

Located on the quieter side of the Tetons from Jackson Hole in Victor, Idaho — Teton Valley Resort offers a quaint and peaceful escape. With a variety of cabin and camping options, on-site cafe, and giant swimming pool, it’s the perfect basecamp for all things in the Tetons.

Cabins at Capitol Reef

Escape out west to the rugged Utah desert and then kick back and relax in the boujee and minimalist Cabins at Capitol Reef. Located in Torrey, Utah, these A Frames have all the luxuries of home, and then some, so you can explore Capitol Reef National Park in style.

Outdoor Design

Connecting people and nature through design is the vibe of the Outdoor Design cabins in Salida, Colorado. Surrounded by national forest and nestled in the woods of a 35 acre property, you’ll find both solace and inspiration in these beautiful spaces. PS: Doggos are allowed. :)
